Choosing the right suppression system
We assess different types of systems that may be suitable for the project. Ignist has specialist expertise in fire safety and technical safety, which is crucial in this phase.
Suppression systems are among the most important fire safety measures in a building. Choosing the right system, designing and installing it correctly, and following it up properly during operation are all essential to achieve the intended effect. Ignist can support advisory and design work in every phase.
We assess different types of systems that may be suitable for the project. Ignist has specialist expertise in fire safety and technical safety, which is crucial in this phase.
Ignist prepares complete design documentation according to the selected design standard (NS-EN 12845, NS-EN 16925, NFPA, FM Global).
If you have received deviations from an FG inspection, they should be followed up carefully so the system works as intended. Deviations are often related to missing documentation or changed assumptions. Ignist can provide advisory support to resolve deviations in the best possible way and prepare sufficient documentation.
We verify that the system design corresponds with the selected design standard and the assumptions in the fire safety strategy.
Ignist holds central approval in project class 3 for the design of suppression installations, as well as design and independent control of fire safety strategies. We are also FG-910 certified for sprinkler system design and hold central approval in project class 1 as responsible applicant. This means we can assist with and take responsibility for most issues and solutions from early phase through completed suppression system design.
